Inken Schönauer has been appointed as Finance Editor for the German daily national newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung(FAZ), effective 12th August. Inken was previously Editor-in-Chief for the German publication EURO FINANCE magazin and a Correspondent for the German daily newspapers Börsen-Zeitung and Die Welt in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and London. She succeedsGerald Braunberger, who is now a Publisher of FAZ.

BRIGITTE
The German fortnightly magazine BRIGITTE is launching a new psychology supplement in November in cooperation with the psychotherapist and author Stefanie Stahl. The magazine, whose topics will include personal coaching, family, relationships, health and style, is aimed at women aged 30+ who aspire to lead a fulfilling life. Stefanie will cover current social psychological issues. The semiannual magazine will have a print run of 100,000 copies and be available in retail for €5.90.

RUNNER’S WORLD (Germany)
The website of the German monthly running magazine RUNNER’S WORLD has been relaunched in line with the MOTOR PRESSE brands. The website has a new visual appearance and easier reader navigation, which highlights the most popular topics.

SPORT1
The German sports broadcaster Sport1 has renamed the sports magazine ‘Bundesliga Aktuell’ as ‘SPORT1 News’. It continues to be presented in rotation by Ruth Hofmann, Laura Papendick and Jochen Stutzky. ‘SPORT1 News’ covers other popular sports such as basketball, handball, darts and esports.

HEIDI.NEWS
Fabrice Delaye is now a Reporter covering start-ups, tech and science for the Swiss online magazine HEIDI.NEWS. He was previously Paris Correspondent for the Swiss fortnightly magazine Bilan, a role he left after 13 years.

AS
Carmelo Ruíz is now Football Editor-in-Chief for the Spanish daily national sports newspaper AS. He was previously Football Editor for the same publication.

RNE
Gemma Nierga is now a Reporter for the Spanish national radio station RNE. Based in Catalonia, Gemma will contribute to the radio programme ‘El matí a Ràdio 4’ (The morning of Ràdio 4). She will present the section ‘Un café d’idees amb Gemma Nierga’ (A coffee ideas with Gemma Nierga) from Monday to Thursday at 8:30am (CET), when she will chat with a different politician or notable professional.

Prima Comunicazione
The Italian monthly media and marketing magazine Prima Comunicazione is now available nationally. The print edition was previously only available in the north of Italy, but can now be purchased countrywide.

Radio Nerazzurra
The new Italian online radio station Radio Nerazzurra has been launched by Emittente Nerazzurra S.r.l.. The station covers the football club Internazionale F.C. and is available on radionerazzurra.it. Radio Nerazzura covers the transfer market, training, interviews, pre- and post-match updates and news on players from the present and the past. The station is the result of the cooperation between Triboo and Fcinternews.

The German health website NetDoktor.de has been acquired by Hubert Burda Media, and the entire editorial team is now part of BurdaLife. Florian Geuppert, former Managing Director, has remained within Holtzbrinck Publishing Group. Florian’s successor will be announced in due course.

Illustrazione Ticinese
The Swiss monthly lifestyle magazine Illustrazione Ticinese has been acquired by publishing house Società editrice del Corriere del Ticino SA, effective 1st September. The 23 year old magazine will continue to be published on a monthly basis.
