Black Ox
Laura King has been appointed Regional Business Editor at Black Ox, the B2B media group. Her appointment follows Black Ox’s acquisition of DorsetBizNews in January 2023 and the announcement that it plans to launch several BizNews sites over the coming months; Laura will spearhead the roll-out of the county-based websites. The first site, HampshireBizNews, is due to go live on 25 April.

Hannah James (@howhannahsawit) has been promoted to Senior Home, Lifestyle & Parenting Writer at Bauer Media, where she works across Yours, A Modern Kitchen, Modern Gardens and Grazia. Hannah was previously a Commercial Content Writer.
Classic FM
Margherita Taylor and Ritula Shah have been announced as the hosts of two of Classic FM’s most popular weekday programmes, starting from next week. Margherita, who joined the station 15 years ago, is the new host of More Music Drive, live on weekdays from 4pm to 7pm. She takes over from John Brunning, who will remain a central part of the presenting team. Meanwhile, Ritula Shah will present Calm Classics, weeknights from 10pm. She joins from Radio 4, where she hosted several programmes, most notably as the main presenter of The World Tonight.
National World
Joe Cawthorn (@josephcawthorn) has been appointed as a Content Strategist for National World, effective at the end of April. Joe was previously Head of Engagement at DC Thomson, working across the Press & Journal and Evening Express.
The New European
Matthew d’Ancona (@MatthewdAncona) has been appointed as Editor-at-Large for The New European, effective next week. Matthew will write a weekly column and host a new podcast.
Freelance Update - Shelly Vella
Shelly Vella (@shellyvella) will be working freelance from 28 April. Shelly is an experienced creative consultant, shoot director, content creator, writer and Stylist. She currently works as Fashion Director of the Mail on Sunday’s YOU magazine.
