ADAC Motorwelt
The German motoring magazine ADAC Motorwelt will also be available through subscription following its relaunch in March 2020. It is primarily distributed through the supermarkets Edeka and Netto, as well as the ADAC offices. Members will be given the option of receiving the magazine by post for a small annual fee to cover postage. Dominik Schütte of the Content Marketing Agentur Storyboard GmbH will be Editor, while Martin Kunz remains as Editor-in-Chief.

Following a six month testing phase, the German media house BurdaForward has officially launched the consumer platform Chip 365 as part of the online tech portal Chip.de.Chip 365's tests and expert tips are free and, in addition to gadget tests, encompass a variety of products and services from daily life.

Deutsche Welle
Tomi Oladipo has been appointed as a News Anchor and Digital Reporter for the German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW), effective from October. Tomi, who is currently an Africa Security Correspondent for BBC News, will be based in Berlin.

DuMont Mediengruppe / Berliner Verlag
The media house DuMont has sold their subsidiary Berliner Verlag, which encompasses the daily regional newspapers Berliner ZeitungBerliner Kurier and Berliner Abendblatt, to the entrepreneurs Silke and Holger Friedrich. The sale awaits the approval of the relevant authorities.

ENERGY Sachsen
Anna Schmidt is now a Presenter of the radio show ‘Knallwach mit Anna & Julian am Morgen’ (awake with Anna & Julian in the morning) at the German private station ENERGY Sachsen. Anna was previously a Presenter for the private station Radio Paloma. She succeeds Franziska Mühlhause, who is pursuing other interests.

The German publisher Gruner + Jahr is ceasing the monthly magazine JWD - Joko Winterscheidts Druckerzeugnis, which is a cooperation with the TV presenter Joko Winterscheidt. The final issue will be published in December.

KARPFEN
The German special interest magazine KARPFEN, which focuses on carp fishing, has been redesigned. KARPFEN, which is published five times a year, has a stronger focus on its young target readership and lays more value on photo quality. In addition, the social media presence has been expanded to Instagram.

RTL Mediengruppe Deutschland
The German media company RTL Mediengruppe Deutschland has announced the following leadership changes as part of the development of a central editorial office:
Juliane Eßling and Wolf-Ulrich Schüler will be Deputy Editors-in-Chief for the central editorial team under Editor-in-Chief Tanit Koch. Wolf-Ulrich, former Editor-in-Chief for the newspaper BILD, is changing to the RTL group by 1st October.
Christina Frank and Lotte Lang will be Deputy Editors-in-Chief for the RTL Editor-in-Chief Michael Wulf.
Peter Seiffert and Angela Lang will be Deputy Editors-in-Chief for the Digital desk under Editor-in-Chief Jan Rudolph.
Göksen Büyükbezci will be Deputy Editor-in-Chief for the TV channel n-tv under Editor-in-Chief Sonja Schwetje.
Except for Wolf-Ulrich, everyone is already part of the RTL Mediengruppe Deutschland.

Schwäbische Zeitung Laichingen
Maike Scholz has been appointed as Laichingen Editor for the German daily regional newspaper Schwäbische Zeitung, effective from October. Maike, who is currently a Reporter on the team, succeeds Johannes Rauneker, who will move to the Ulm office.

Anna Klöpper is now Berlin Editor for the German daily national newspaper taz. die tageszeitung, sharing leadership of the desk with existing Berlin Editor Bert Schulz. Anna has worked for taz since 2011 and since 2015 has been a Reporter and Desk Editor with the Berlin team.

Blick TV
Reto Scherrer has been appointed as an Anchor for the Swiss private broadcaster Blick TV, effective 1st January 2020. In addition, Dominik Stroppel will be Blick TV’s Head of Formats & Branded Entertainment from March 2020. Dominik has been Head of Digital for the national broadcaster Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) since 2017. Reto is currently a Presenter for Radio SRF.

NZZ am Sonntag
The film director and screenwriter Güzin Kar is now a Columnist for the Swiss weekly newspaper NZZ am Sonntag. Her new column 'Die Triebtäterin’ covers relationship topics and modern life.

Pere Rostoll Fernández is now Politics Editor-in-Chief at the Spanish daily regional newspaper Información. He was previously a Politics Editor for the same publication, where he has worked since 1996.

La Nueva España
Gonzalo Martínez Peón is now Director of the Spanish daily regional newspaper La Nueva España. He was previously Deputy Director for the same publication. Gonzalo succeeds Ángeles Rivero Velasco, who has been appointed as Deputy General Director of the newspaper and is leaving his role in the editorial team after 11 years.

Vozpópuli
Antonio Sanchidrian Díaz is now National Editor at the Spanish online newspaper Vozpópuli. He was previously Politics Editor at the Spanish online newspaper El Independiente, where he had worked since 2016. Antonio now responsible for Vozpópuli's coverage of national politics and current affairs.

Economista.info
Daniele Chicca is now Digital Content Strategist and Editor at the Italian economics website Economista.info. Daniele, a former Wall Street Italia Managing Editor, is currently a Freelance Reporter, also contributing to the Swiss website The Cryptonomist. In addition to his current roles, he is available for further assignments.

La Gazzetta dello Sport - Sportweek
The Italian national daily sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has relaunched their weekly lifestyle supplement Sportweek. The restyling of the magazine concerns both the graphic and the content side and will be released from 19th October.

MF - Milano Finanza
Roberto Sommelia is now Joint Director of the Italian daily finance newspaper MF – Milano Finanza. He will support the Director Paolo Panerai, who will focus mainly on the website. Roberto was previously a Reporter and Deputy Director for the same publication.

Motosprint
Federico Porrozzi is now Managing Editor of the Italian weekly motoring magazine Motosprint. He was previously a Reporter for the magazine, where he focused mainly on the online edition. Federico succeeds Enrico Borghi, who was in charge since 2016 and has now left to pursue other interests.

RAI - TGR
Pasqualino Pandullo is now Editor-in-Chief of the regional service in Calabria for the Italian national TV channel Rai 3. He was previously Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tgr Calabria. Pasqualino succeeds Luca Ponzi, who is now Head of the Liguria region editorial team for the same broadcaster.

Voce News
The Italian online magazine La Voce d’Italia has now been relaunched under the name Voce News, and all email addresses carry the new name. Voce News continues to focus on politics and current affairs.
