Bauer Media Group
The German Bauer Media Group has changed the leadership of their 'Style and Luxury' segment. Effective immediately, Petra Winter is now Editorial Director and Verena Mölling is Publishing Director, succeeding Robert Sandmann, who is pursuing other interests. In addition, Lisa Tippelt, Executive Director Fashion & Beauty / Premium & Luxury, will also leave the company as part of structural changes within the media group.

Börse am Sonntag
Reinhard Schlieker has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the German online finance magazine BÖRSE am Sonntag, effective 1st January 2020. He succeeds Dr. Wolfram Weimer, who will continue to be a Publisher at the Weimar Media Group. Reinhard has worked for the German broadcaster Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF) since 1991 and is currently a Reporter and Presenter on the markets desk.

BUNTE
Ilka Peemöller has been appointed as Berlin Bureau Chief for the weekly society magazine BUNTE, effective in October. She succeeds Daniel Funke, who has assumed the newly created role of Burda Magazine Holding Bureau Chief. Ilka is currently a Freelance Author, Journalist and TV Society Expert.

DER SPIEGEL - bento
Viktoria Bolmer and Julia Rieke are now the Editors of the German online news platform bento by the SPIEGEL Group, which is aimed at young readers aged 18 to 30. Viktoria and Julia, who were already Authors for bento, succeed Frauke Lüpke-Narberhaus and Ole Reißmann.
Frauke is now Desk Editor for the SPIEGEL section 'Leben' (life), together with Anke Dürr, and Ole is now Managing Editor for new products both in print and online services. Furthermore, bento will be clearly branded as a SPIEGEL product and will focus more closely on content for the under-30 age group.

DIE ZEIT
The German weekly national newspaper DIE ZEIT has launched the new section 'STREIT' (dispute). Charlotte Parnack is the Editor of 'STREIT', which is published with the politics section and covers debates and controversies in a dialogue format. Furthermore, the new section 'WISSEN' (knowledge) combines the previous sections WISSEN and 'CHANCEN' (opportunities). 'WISSEN' will be published as two newspaper supplements, WISSEN I and WISSEN II. The new politics desk, under Editors Elisabeth RaetherMarc Brost und Heinrich Wefing presents the new interview format 'der politische Fragebogen der ZEIT' (the political questionnaire).

MADSACK Mediengruppe
The German MADSACK Media Group has launched RND.de, the first national news portal of the editorial network RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland. The portal provides exclusive news, documentaries and services, and allows readers to customise their news feed. The RND newsroom will be the digital journalism centre for the MADSACK.

Mannheimer Morgen
Karsten Kammholz is now Editor-in-Chief for the German daily regional newspaper Mannheimer Morgen, joining the existing Editor-in-Chief Dirk Lübke. Karsten was previously a Chief Reporter and Member of Editorial Board in Berlin for the German publisher FUNKE Mediengruppe.

Thüringer Allgemeine
The German daily regional newspaper Thüringer Allgemeine launches the new podcast 'Hollitzer trifft…' (Hollitzer meets...) in which Editor-in-Chief Jan Hollitzer interviews notable guests from the region. The weekly episodes are 45 to 60 minutes long and are accessible on the newspaper's website, Spotify and iTunes, and in the future will be available on Alexa.

Marie Menke is now Editor-in-Chief of the German online magazine treffpunkteuropa.de, succeeding Gesine Weber, who has left to pursue other interests. The new Deputy Editor-in-Chief is Stefanie Neufeld.
Furthermore, six new Authors have joined the German language editorial team: Leonie TheidingFlorian BauerJulia BernardJohn GrosserCharlotte Felthöfer and Patrick Geneit.

WirtschaftsWoche
The German weekly business magazine WirtschaftsWoche has launched the premium newsletter 'Recht & Steuern' (law and taxes), which is published every Sunday at 8:00am (CET). After a four-week trial period a monthly subscription costs €7.90.

WDR (Radio) - 1LIVE
The German public broadcaster Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) has launched the new weekly podcast 'Gute Leute' (good people). The show airs on 1LIVE on Wednesdays at 11:00pm (CET) as well as being accessible online. Sophie Passmann presents the show together with different guests each week.

SRF (TV)
Florence Schelling has been appointed as an ice hockey Commentator at the Swiss public broadcaster Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF). The former national goal keeper will be on the show 'eishockey aktuell' (ice hockey right now) and during live broadcasts, in rotation with the other Commentators Marc ReichertMario RottarisMark Streit and Christian Weber.

Tages-Anzeiger
Nicola Brusa, Editor on the city life desk for the Swiss daily regional newspaper Tages-Anzeiger, is leaving his role at the end of the year. He has been responsible for the sections 'Bellevue' and 'Züritipp' which will merge by the end of September.

Fanpage.it
Francesco Cancellato is now Deputy Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Italian online newspaper Fanpage.it. He was previously Director of the online newspaper Linkiesta, where he had worked since April 2014. His successor will be announced in due course.

La Gazzetta dello Sport – Calcio
The Italian daily national sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has created new sections on its website to provide updates on specific football teams. The five teams Bologna, Brescia, Atalanta, Hellas Verona and Torino now have dedicated coverage on the portal.

Panteon
Jacopo Costanzo is the Director of the new regional architecture magazine Panteon, which has now been launched. Panteon is published twice a year in Rome, and every issue consists of texts which are collected through an open call for submissions on their website.

Radio24 (Italy)
The Italian daily national radio station Radio24 has made the following changes:
Alessio Maurizi is now Presenter of the show ‘Effetto Giorno’ (Day Effect), which is broadcast Monday to Friday at 1:00pm (CET). Alessio, who has worked for Radio24 since 2003, is also the Presenter of the weekend radio show ‘Si può fare’ (It can be done).
In addition, the afternoon show ‘Linee d’ombra – Storie dei nuovi vizi capitali’ has now launched and is broadcast Monday to Friday at 3:00pm (CET). It is presented by Matteo Caccia, who has past experience at Radio24.

Radio Capital
Oscar Fulvio Giannino is now a Presenter and Contributor for the Italian radio station Radio Capital. Oscar, who has extensive experience including previous contributions to Radio Capital, was previously a Host for the Italian radio station Radio 24. He will present his own programme on Saturdays from 8:00am to 10:00am (CET), as well as accompanying Presenter Massimo Giannini on the morning show ‘Circo Massimo’. Details regarding Oscar's new show will be announced in due course.
