Andrew Marr is to leave the BBC after more than 21 years at the broadcaster, including 16 as presenter of The Andrew Marr Show. Next year he will join Global, fronting an opinion-led news programme on LBC, and a brand-new arts programme on Classic FM. Marr will also have a regular column on LBC.co.uk and Global Player.

Paul Dacre is returning to DMG Media as Editor-in-Chief, where he will not be involved in day-to-day editing but will assume an advisory role.
Ted Verity is now Editor for Mail newspapers, with responsibility for the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and You magazine. Ted was previously Editor of the Sunday title.

Tom Usher has been appointed Luxury Creative Director for Hearst UK with responsibility for leading the design team on Harper’s Bazaar UK, ELLE UK and Esquire UK. Tom is an award-winning Creative Director who's earned an excellent reputation for creative directing, magazine design and typography for both men’s and women’s titles. His career started at Vogue and GQ, and in 2003 he moved on to art direct men’s style magazine Arena. In 2007, he launched UK Harper’s Bazaar with Lucy Yeomans. Tom joined Marie Claire as Creative Director in 2012 and most recently held the position of Creative Director at Tatler. Tom’s official start date is on the 17 January 2022.
