Rhian Lubin
 has been appointed as a Specialist Journalist (Climate Crisis & International Development) at the Daily Mirror. She is part of a 12-month project at the Mirror, working with young people around the world and empowering them to tell their stories about the climate crisis. Drapers 
Sally Hales 
has been appointed Acting Deputy Editor at Drapers, covering Jill Geoghegan's maternity leave. Sally, who will work across both the magazine and website, was previously a freelance travel and arts writer and editor. 
Kimberly Lavéy has been appointed Digital Editor at Drapers. Previously a freelance digital, social media and commercial editor, she will now be overseeing the daily update of the Drapers website, social media and all digital engagement plus writing and editing content. Kimberly would like to hear more about fashion business, news, retail, analysis, reports and more, and can be reached via email.

Fabric 
The team behind Fabric magazine have left Bookmark Content to establish a new agency. Hatton Collective (www.hattoncollective.com) will be a fully remote, agile publishing agency, bringing all the benefits and experience of their traditional bricks-and-mortar-agency background to a new world of work. Liz Skone James is the Editorial Director.

LOOKFANTASTIC has launched a new bi-monthly digital magazine, The Highlight, with beauty news, exclusive celebrity interviews, wellness and lifestyle features. Natalie Ticehurst and Sheeva Fallahi are Editor and Deputy Editor respectively, with Ellie Taylor and Alice MacFarlane as Beauty Writers.

Rob Parsons
is joining Reach as Editor of The Northern Agenda, the new online brand focusing on the politics of the North of England. It will consist of a newsletter and podcast as well as other formats, featuring journalism from reporters at titles including the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo, Hull Daily Mail, Newcastle daily The Chronicle, Yorkshire Live, Lancs Live and Cheshire Live. The Society of Editors has announced the appointment of Dawn Alford as its new Executive Director. Dawn has had an extensive career in newspapers and as a magazine editor. She has also spent more than 10 years as an editorial content director for digital and print content agencies. She began her career on the Exeter Leader, a Northcliffe weekly before going to work on the city’s evening title, the Express and Echo. She later worked as crime reporter and chief reporter at the Southampton Daily Echo. On national titles, she worked in various reporting and executive roles including for the Sunday Express, Daily Express, Mirror, Sunday People and the New Day.
