GB News has announced the following appointments:

  • Sky News journalist Colin Brazier will host a daytime news, interview and debate programme.
  • Darren McCaffrey is joining from Euronews as Political Editor and a Presenter.
  • Tom Harwood, of the politics website Guido Fawkes, will be a Political Correspondent.
  • Gill Penlington has been appointed Senior Executive Producer. Gill has worked at NBC, the BBC, CNN and ITN.
  • Alex Farrell and Amanda Hall are joining as Executive Producers.
  • Michelle Dewberry will anchor a new prime time show five nights a week.

is joining Rhotic Media as a financial journalist on 1 March 2021. Mark will work for clients within the Retail Finance team, covering news and features in asset management, retail trading, retail and commercial banking and regulation. He will report to Jenny Turton. Mark was previously head of content research and development at Last Word Media, editor of International Adviser and a deputy editor with FT Business prior to that.

Victory Online has now launched as a digital radio station for Portsmouth and is streaming via the usual platforms, including smart speakers and TuneIn. The station is not connected with any previous station in the city using the name.
