Brooke McCord and Alex O’Brien have been promoted at The Face. Brooke, formerly Digital Editor, is now Digital Director. Alex was previously Art Director and is now Creative Director. They can both be reached on the same email addresses.

Emma Dance has been appointed Editor of Foodlover magazine. The magazine and website, which celebrates the food and drink sector across Somerset (inc Bath and Bristol), Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, paused production earlier this year but is now resuming with the next issue out from March 2021. Emma, who has previously served as Editor of Healthy Diet magazine and Crumbs magazine, is keen to be updated with food and drink news, launches and recipes - especially those relating to the Westcountry.

Molly Bowler and Emily Fletcher have started as Junior Social Media Executives at FROW magazine and will be looking after all social media content. In addition, Tamiah Brown has joined as a Junior Fashion Assistant and is currently working on fashion style guides for social media posts and looking for product imagery.

The Hook
Mared Parry has joined The Hook as Entertainment and Lifestyle Reporter. She is looking for celebrity, entertainment and lifestyle pitches, as well as any new launches and event invites. Mared, who continues to freelance for various outlets, can be found on Twitter @maredparry

Journal of Clinical Nursing
Professor Mark Hayter has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Nursing, effective in the new year. Mark, a Professor of Nursing at the University of Hull, is currently Editor of the Journal of Advanced Nursing. He can be found tweeting at @MarkHayter1

The Mother Project
Sophie Beresiner, Beauty & Style Director at Buro Global, has launched The Mother Project to house the archive of Sophie's Mother Project columns that first appeared in The Times. There will be a Beauty Cupboard, featuring authentic recommendations, as well as curated and shoppable edits of everything from clothes and accessories to play and essentials. Interiors will occupy its own space and there will be a platform for contributors to share their own routes to parenthood, offering advice and affirmation to anyone who might benefit. Forbes Italia has launched a new section on cars for both the online and print editions. Alfonso Rizzo is Director of the new section, which will cover new vehicles but also other aspects such as the economic side, distribution and national market trends.

The new monthly women’s issues magazine MoltoDonna has now been launched by Caltagirone Editore as a supplement of the publisher’s newspapers Il MessaggeroIl MattinoIl GazzettinoCorriere Adriatico and Nuovo Quotidiano di PugliaMassimo Martinelli and Osvaldo De Paolini are Director and Deputy Director respectively; they hold the same roles at Il Messaggero.
