Fabulous magazine
The Sun has launched Fabulous NHS Care Packages to give toiletries to our heroic healthcare workers as a small token of gratitude, and are calling for beauty brands to donate.

Helpforce, a charity supporting volunteering in the NHS, will work with delivery giant UPS to dispatch the parcels to those on the frontline.

The newspaper is taking We C U 2020 - a local initiative from Essex, which collects products from top beauty brands including Burt’s Bees and Elizabeth Arden and delivering them to NHS staff - and helping to reach as many healthcare workers as possible across the UK.  

All products kindly donated by brands will be delivered to hospital trusts that need them most, supporting healthcare staff working long hours and under great strain. Fabulous is calling on any brands who can spare products for our healthcare heroes to get in touch at beautydrop@fabulousmag.co.uk. NHS workers can also request packages at carepackages@fabulousmag.co.uk

The Orwell Prize for Journalism

The longlists have been announced for the Orwell Prizes for Journalism and Exposing Britain's Social Evils 2020. The full list can be viewed here. The shortlists for both prizes will be announced in mid-May and the winners of the prizes, which are both worth £3,000, will be unveiled on George Orwell’s birthday, Tuesday 25th June, together with the winner of The Orwell Prize for Political Writing and The Orwell Prize for Political Fiction.
