BOAT International
Belle Rice has been appointed Luxury Editor at BOAT International. From the October issue onwards, she will oversee all of the publication's Boat Life content, including new luxury launches and stories on tech, design, art, property, style, watches, jewellery, and food and drink. Belle will work across both the international and US edition, and has previously written for titles including House & Garden, Tatler, Condé Nast Brides and Condé Nast Traveller.

(@finamoray) has joined Drapers as Features Editor. She was previously a Freelance Music & Culture Writer and has worked with a range of titles.

Happiful
Happiful magazine has moved to a new address: Memiah Limited / Happiful, Building B, Riverside Way, Camberley, Surrey, GU15 3YL. However, most of the team work remotely so speculative samples/proofs should not be sent to this address as they are likely to get lost or missed.

Rob Hastings (@robhastings) has been promoted to Special Projects Editor at the i paper and inews.co.uk. Rob, who was Deputy Features Editor, will be writing long reads and interviews with a news focus, plus occasionally commissioning.

Insurance Age
Sophie Locke-Cooper has joined Insurance Age as a Reporter. She will be covering UK insurance with a particular focus on the broker sector. The team is interested to hear about all things insurance with a focus on regulation, technology, products and business lines.

Amanda Pauley
(@Mini_Pauley), previously Deputy Editor at Professional Beauty, has been appointed Features Editor at loveFOOD. She would like to hear from PRs about chef interviews, recipes, product reviews, press trips, news and research. She will also be a contributing writer to the company’s sister travel site loveEXPLORING.

New Energy World
New Energy World magazine is the new flagship weekly publication of the Energy Institute (EI), which replaces the EI’s previous two publications Petroleum Review and Energy World. New Energy World aims to showcase progress, news and updates from across the global energy industry as it transitions towards net zero. Stories, questions or requests for more information can be sent to Digital Editor Charlie Bush. Steve Hodgson is Acting Senior Editor and Kim Jackson is Executive Editor.

Lucy Middleton
(@Miditun) has been appointed Deputy Editor of Openly, the LGBTQ+ news platform from the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Lucy was previously Assistant News Editor at the Daily Mirror.

PCGuide
Kevin Pocock, previously freelance, is now Managing Editor at PCGuide (pcguide.com) and is open to receiving contact from consumer and enthusiast tech PRs (UK and US).

Property Week
Dan McGrath is now a Multimedia Journalist at Property Week. Dan joins the team from AV Magazine, where he was a Business Reporter. He can be reached via email.

The Times
Katie Prescott has been appointed Technology Business Editor of The Times, and will start this June. Reporting into Richard Fletcher, business editor of The Times, Katie will be responsible for covering business technology news and will have a weekly column in the business section. Katie is an experienced business presenter and journalist, and joins after a decade of reporting for the BBC. Her most recent roles include business presenter and producer for Radio 4’s Today programme and business correspondent across BBC News on TV, radio and online. 

The Travel Diaries
Following a destination special mini-series, Season 7 of The Travel Diaries podcast, hosted by journalist and editor Holly Rubenstein, launches today across all podcast platforms. Laura Price
(@LauraPriceWrite) has launched a weekly podcast called Life in Food with Laura Price, available on Apple, Spotify and all the usual platforms. She also runs a newsletter called Doughnuts for Breakfast, inspired by a line in her debut novel, Single Bald Female. Following the publication of her book, Laura is available for commissions on food, travel, lifestyle, women's health and first-person pieces.
