(@niamh_mcintyre) has started her new role as a Technology Reporter for TBIJ after four years on The Guardian’s data team.

Jessica Taylor (@jesstaylor1993) has been appointed Senior Writer at the Daily Mail’s Femail. Jessica was previously a Real Life Features Writer at the Mirror and prior to that was a Reporter at Take a Break.

Lewis Goodall is joining Global, the Media & Entertainment group, as the third host on Global’s major new podcast co-presented by Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel, which will launch this autumn. Lewis will also be Analysis & Investigations Editor for Global, with a remit to supercharge the broadcaster’s video journalism, reporting on breaking stories in the UK and beyond, and creating high impact content for the podcast, Global Player and across social channels for LBC.

Laurène Rey-Millet
(@reymillet) has joined The Independent as Video Audience Editor. Laurène has previously worked for MailOnline and will continue as Chief Journalist at Gramersi, a media platform for consumers and retail startups.

Spriha Srivastava
(@spriha) is now London Bureau Chief at Insider in addition to her role as International Executive Editor for business. Spriha will be leading the newsroom alongside Deputy Bureau Chief Kieran Corcoran and can continue to be reached at the same email address.

Amy Denman
has been appointed Assistant Showbiz Editor at the Mirror Online and is open to any opportunities for celebrity interviews and events. Previously Weekend Associate Editor for OK! Online, Amy can continue to be reached at the same email address.  

The Scott Trust
The Scott Trust, the sole shareholder of Guardian Media Group, has announced the appointment of Haroon Siddique as journalist director to the board. Haroon has worked at the Guardian for over 15 years and is currently its legal affairs correspondent, previously serving as a reporter and senior reporter in the Guardian’s newsroom.

The Sun on Sunday
Kate Ferguson
(@kateferguson4) has been promoted to Political Editor of The Sun on Sunday, effective later this summer. Kate, currently Deputy Political Editor, succeeds David Wooding.

The Telegraph
Jess Benjamin
(@jessbenjamino) recently joined The Telegraph as Digital Features and Lifestyle Editor. Jess, previously Digital Editor of ES Magazine at the Evening Standard, can now be reached at her new email address.

TTG Media
Katherine Lawrey has returned to the Features Editor role at TTG Media, which she last occupied in 2016. Katherine was previously at Telegraph Travel after a spell working freelance and now works for TTG Media four days a week (non-work day is Wednesday).

Katie will be available for commissions and shift work, with particular areas of interest being TV, film, books, theatre and music; she is still keen to hear from PRs covering all of those fields.

Freelance Update - Saba Salman
Freelance social affairs writer/editor Saba Salman (@Saba_Salman) will join Community Living magazine as editor. Saba will edit the quarterly title about learning disability issues alongside existing commissions for titles including The Guardian, The Independent and Byline Times. Saba is also the author/editor of the non-fiction book Made Possible: stories of success by people with learning disabilities, in their own words.
