Lara Gibson has joined 9fin as a Distressed Debt Reporter and will be writing about bankruptcy, restructurings and distressed M&A. She joins the team from Reorg, where she was a Mid-Market Reporter.
Bianca Boorer has also joined 9fin as a Reporter covering distressed debt and restructuring of European credits. She was previously Emerging Markets Reporter at Reorg, covering distressed debt and restructurings in Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Bianca is interested to hear from industry professionals in the field of distressed debt.

Anna Matheson (@annamatheson) has been appointed Celebrity Editor for Future’s women’s lifestyle magazines; she will be covering celebrity interviews, news, film, TV, music and entertainment releases. Anna was previously Senior Celebrity & Entertainment Writer at Reach.

The Guardian
Pippa Crerar has been appointed as the Guardian’s new Political Editor. Pippa has been Political Editor at the Daily Mirror since 2018, having previously worked as Guardian Deputy Political Editor and for a decade as Political correspondent and City Hall Editor at the Evening Standard. She will join the Guardian later this year, succeeding Heather Stewart, who has been Political Editor since 2016. Heather moves into a new Guardian role as Special Correspondent, reporting on how the pandemic, Brexit and the government’s ‘levelling-up’ agenda are changing lives and livelihoods in the UK.
