BBC 6 Music
Travel journalist Rob Crossan has joined BBC 6Musicto present a new show on Sunday afternoons (1pm-2pm). Called The Happiness Map, the show features musicians talking about their favourite places on earth and playing hand-picked tunes from each destination. The first episode aired at the weekend and featured Elvis Costello talking about New Orleans. In upcoming episodes, Rob will speak to Emmy the Great about Hong Kong, and Disclosure about Bali. The show is also available on the BBC Sounds app.

has been appointed Acting Deputy Digital Editor for Closer. Eden will work across both heat and Closer writing celebrity, entertainment, beauty and fashion content.

has been promoted to Deputy Editor (News). Jack has been at the Evening Standard for 14 years and worked in many capacities across the operation, most recently as Executive Editor and Head of News where he has led an agenda-setting news team. He will continue to oversee news on all platforms while stepping up to take on a broader range of editing and management responsibilities.
Neil Hunter has been promoted to Associate Editor (Digital Operations). Neil has been instrumental in the company’s pivot to digital first working, delivering a new CMS and retraining the entire team to work across platforms. He will continue to evolve their digital offering, introducing a range of innovations to help the business operate more effectively, and retains responsibility for the team’s digital training requirements.

, previously Commercial Movies Video Producer Editor at MTV, is available for both freelance and permanent opportunities in video production, editing digital content and covering entertainment junkets. At MTV she produced high-performing daily video and news pieces across all social platforms, as well as writing, producing, and editing a linear weekly TV bulletin for MTV International. Jacqui has six years’ experience as a front-of-camera journalist, globally pitching game concepts to publicists and studios. She is well-versed in all aspects of production: from organising and managing shoots, to filming on the ground at tentpole events, to filming with in-house studio cameras and casting and directing voiceover artists, negotiating their fees and prepping legal contracts. Il Dubbio 
Davide Varì 
is now Managing Director of the Italian national daily newspaper Il Dubbio. He replaces Carlo Fusi, who has left the publication to pursue other interests.

Libero Quotidiano
The Italian national daily newspaper Libero Quotidiano has now launched the online TV channel LiberoTv. Initially run by the paper’s editorial team, LiberoTv will offer video columns, breaking news and more in-depth reporting. 

La Stampa
The Italian newspaper La Stampa has now relaunched the weekly supplement Specchio. Initially launched in 1996 and ceased in 2009, the magazine is available on Sundays with a surcharge of €0.50. La Stampa’s Managing Editor Massimo Giannini is responsible for Specchio, which offers more in-depth analysis of politics, social issues, civil rights and gender issues.
