Bauer UK Publishing has named Lisa Sinclair as its new Group Editor for its Celebrity titles, which includes Closer, heat and Crime Monthly. Most recently, Lisa was a Director at Singill Enterprises which supplied content for titles such as Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day and the Sydney Morning Herald. Caroline Robb (heat), Katie Banks (Closer) and Steph Seelan (Crime Monthly) will be continuing in their roles as Acting Editors for their respective titles until the end of September.

Gianluca Mezzofiore (@GianlucaMezzo) has been promoted to Editor of the open-source intelligence (OSINT) team in CNN's London bureau. Gianluca has worked at CNN for over five years and was previously an Investigative Producer.
The Echo
Sarah O’Dwyer (@SarahODwyer1) has been promoted to Deputy News Editor for The Echo in Cork. Sarah joined the paper in 2019 as Assistant News Editor and can be reached at the same email address.

Ella Creamer (@ella_louise_c) has joined The Guardian as a Books Reporter. Ella has previously done freelance work for the paper, as well as various other outlets.
ITV News
Megan Murphy (@MeganMurphyITV) has been appointed Early Presenter for ITV Channel TV, based in Jersey. Megan joined the broadcaster last year as a Trainee and then became a Production Journalist.

Alex Jones (@alexnljones) has joined Newsquest as a Football Writer covering Ipswich Town FC for the EADT and Ipswich Star. Alex previously reported on Millwall FC for Southwark News.

Frances Marcellin has joined the Fitt Insider team as a Senior Reporter at WellToDo, to help accelerate the company's international expansion. WellToDo delivers highly-curated fitness, health and wellness news and insights from the UK/Europe and the rest of the world. Frances is still covering travel (particularly cruise and family), tech, fitness and wellness as a freelancer for trade and consumer titles (bylines include World of Cruising, The Telegraph and the Evening Standard).
